#22 - Trey Mattox, 6-4, 230, Fr., LHP, Yorktown, TX, St. Paul HS

High School: Mattox played three years at Yorktown HS and his senior year at Shiner St. Paul HS. He earned
first team all-state, all-district and district MVP honors as a senior. He batted .608 with four home runs while
leading the area in strikeouts on the mound. He led St. Paul to the state semi-finals. As a freshman he was
named the district Newcomer of the year. He earned second team all-district honors as a sophomore. During his
junior season, he was named first team all-district as a first baseman and second team all-district as a pitcher.
He was a part of four district championship teams.
Personal: Mattox is the son of Charley Mattox and Anne Green and is studying Mechanical Engineering.
